One of the good things of living in this area is we have such a great place so nearby to hack in.
Daughter has hacked pony round the bridleways near the yard but today we boxed down to the park, with her friend and me on tow with my 2 dogs. Brillient cos i get 3 animals exercised all in one go!!!:D
Anyway as usual Star lived up to her name and was a superstar, first canter she had a bit of a hop in excitment but nothing daughter cant handle and actually she finds quite funny!!!;) We ended up been out for about 2 hours!!!

Anyway here some pics of pony and daughter!!!:)

great piccies, your daughter looks like she's enjoying herself!

We're stabled by the park too and I have to keep pinching myself at being so lucky to have so much fab hacking available - even if the deer are a bit randy at the moment :)

Thanks, yes she really enjoyed it she loves anything that involves her pony she adores her.

Haha yer there was lots of noises coming from them today, we steered clear daughter wanted to go and play in the water but there was a stag and his ladies hanging around it so we steered clear.

Lovely photos - especially the one with the dear. I've always fancied riding there, as I work at Heathrow and have friends round there, but horses are in the pennines!

Was quite amusing with pony saw the deer and wanted to follow them kept trying to turn round after going past too!!
You should try and borrow them, what i love is the lack of traffice and its just so pretty!!! Although i bet theres some great views on hacks in the pennines!!!:)

Yes we have wonderful hacking here, we never have to touch a road, even if we go all day, but I have a few friends that live around Windsor and Ascot, and have always been quite surprised just how much nice countryside there is around them.

Lovely photos and brings back some memories. I think the tree lane is where I fell off and my Fjord peed off and ended up at the old peoples homes.
£170 doesn't seem to bad I think it was £50 in 1985 so a few years ago.

I hope my daughter is into ponies when she is older. I would love to go to Windsor Great Park with her...
Beautiful photos btw.
Absolutely stunning place to ride. I have done a couple of the Windsor Great Park sponsored rides and they were fab.
