Just want to direct anybody who has not been in New Lounge to the thread re: rescued equines (horse/pony/donkey). Please please help, Crosskennan is a self funded organisation, and does a wonderful job, but they need our help, whether it be donations of cash (preferably) rugs and halters (if you live in Northern Ireland) to look after these poor animals. Just put another Spindles Farm in your search entry.

Just been to Crosskennan to leave up rugs which I was asked to take up by a friend. A very fit and excited horse was loose in the exercise area by the road, cannot believe it was the poor animal that was another of Crosskennan rescues. Just shows what they (the staff at Crosskennan) do. Lets hope the latest poor souls will look like that in the months to come. Hey and I wish Jeremy Clarkson would turn his bitter comments on our animal abusers, maybe we could respect him a little then!
