I am looking at doing pontispool in September as my first be90. I walked the course when the june one was on and have schooled over most of the fences last week. Will the second one be harder? I see it is an rf final. As this is my long term aim thought maybe it would be a good idea.
what does everyone think?

It will be harder than the first one, whether it is a RF or not tbh.

I always think Pontispool is very fair and rides well, in all three phases - go for it, you sound prepared - good luck :)

As a fence judge, I'd suggest that the 2nd event will be more technical, and ask more questions from horse and rider. They may even pop in a bigger hedge which you (in theory) could brush thru at 90. I few years back I walked the 100 there, and although it was technical, it was a nice course.
