More than likely if they get 100's of entries. What usually happens though is they tend to give priority to locals and by locals I mean Devon, Somerset prob Cornwall and Dorset
i dont think they did last year? or the year before... well i've had two horses run in the pn there for the past two years and when i've been on bdwp i've not thought "oh god I wish I had put ballot stickers on" i think they do their best to get as many horses round as poss!
ETS I think one of the horses ran on a day ticket in 06 aswell
I really don't think of events round here as balloting particularly. My first season (doing intro and PN) I had most of my ballot stickers left at the end of the season. Last year I used them coz I thought I ought to but even with all the rain I don't remember it being a problem. I think we are very lucky round here.
I have never known Pontispool ballot. The only ones in SW you have to watch are the events like Salperton, Withington, Longleat and Gatcombe. I am sure there are few more but they are usually the big ones.
