So anyway what times are people on? will almost certainly come up and watch at some point and will be nice to meet and say hello to some new people off here

I could weep because we are on at something like 8.45 I think, and we actually asked for a later dressage time if possible.
It will mean a very early start as it takes us around two hours to get there.
I hear they are inspecting the XC course tomorrow morning and deciding then to go ahead or not.
The only consolation is going that early she will be one of the first round the course so the going should be fine.
I hope you get in, if it keeps raining you may yet get our early times!!!!

have you got dressage sat or sunday? if sunday they will stick the folks doing sat dressage round the course first!

checking the weather forecast there is about 2cm of rain forecast for tomorrow although saturday and sunday are meant to be pretty dry! will be interesting to hear course inspection outcome. I don't think it will be able to get that deep due to clay and the fact it had hardened up. Our fields are clay and pretty perfect at the moment (well yesterday I jumped in field and it was on the marginally hard side but pretty darn good).

maybe i'm just not meant to do this ODE LOL

I have dressage at 12.45 ish! then Sj and XC just after 3pm.

Surely there are more than 15 in C's class? That seems very few.
We plan to leave around 6am which is tightish time wise but as I have to take my son to the airport the day before for 6am I really don't want to get up that early two days running. (what a way to spend a weekend, OH of course can't help as he is still in hospital.. )

apparently not and get this the novice is the largest of the three open sections!!!!

oh and I love how some RC riders have up to three horses! i know and understand qualifing classes come first so can't really complain but still must say am a bit narked as it did state on entry form to write horses in order of preference if oversubscribed!

As you say it's an area qualifier, so RC members competing in those sections would be able to enter as many horses as they can practicably cope with...........even if that means limiting places in the open classes.

i know hence the I can't complain! oh well looks like if going anywhere this weekend it will be to Bicton college for some SJ as their's is on a surface.

Will prob try come up midday ish on sunday I think so will hopefully get to see a few of you.

MDM saw you in there

lots of people I know are doing it actually. Oh and didn't realise you are Witheridge! I used to belong to them for just over a year and did area dressage for them on Dan. Must have been about 3 years ago now I think...

YOU ARE ALL SO LUCKY!!my dressage is at 2.44 showjumping at 6.09 and xc at 6.44!!!!its going to be a late night back!!i think id prefer to get up earlier, i dont like hanging around in the morning-i just get nervous!

Thanks for that link 'lec'. I can't download the entries for class 3 (which is probably the biggest class!) Can anyone help?

Thanks for that 'lec' got it to open at last! I hope it's not too wet - I'm part of the cross country start team. 8 hours in the rain does not appeal!
