Pony Abandoned By The Roadside :(

Just had a breif conversation with another HHOer and there has been a pony (about 11hh-12hh) tied up by the roadside near her, with a sign saying 'free to good home' .
i dont know the full story, dont think WHW or RSPCA have been called, not even sure if its still there TBH but her friend is popping over to see if anyone has taken it :(
I cant believe someone could be so heartless and leave a tiny pony, probably terrified, tied up by the road. :( if i lived nearer i wouldve gone and picked it up myself....anyone else seen or heard about this pony? Poor thing hope someone takes it home with them....
 
That's awful, but it'll only get worse I think now charities are finding it hard to make space.
They could have left it here I've been looking for a kids pony!

really sad and I hope the pony finds a safe home!
 
Have driven around and around the last hour looking, and got info via text as top where it was near.
No sign of a pony at the place, run down farm, and a jack russell shut in a van with no windows open no sign of any person although we shouted a bit.

Had a look around and no sign of horses, hopefully someone did report them and it is now moved somewhere safe.
 
Just to ease my conscience, have phoned them (RSPCA) lol

better to be safe than sorry, poor old farmer may have fallen or summat, and really the dog shouldn't be in a closed van.
