Hi,
We bought a gorgeous pony 6 months ago. She was perfect in every way! Hacked out, rode in the outdoor and indoor no problem. We never had any problems with her! She walked, trotted, cantered and jumped with no problems.

We had to have her a new fitted saddle due to hers sliding up when jumping after 3 months. The saddle fitter we got fitted the saddle really badly and she started to kick out! Long story short we got another saddle fitter and it now fits and she’s had a physio but after 3 weeks of being great again she’s started to kick out transitioning into trot and canter. We hacked out a couple of days ago and she was going down the field sideways then trying to bolt. She’s had her feet done, teeth and a vet out too. Any advice on what we could do next? Thank you

There could be quite a few possibilities, her back might still have a twinge from the saddle issues even though it’s now ok, could you give her some days off and see if she improves? Have you adjusted her hard feed at all? Could she be getting bored with her exercise regime, how often are you jumping her?
