Just got back from PC Camp, bit late report but have had toncillitis. We had great week with Tilly riding Rocket and jumping everything in sight. Finished week with our D test, Best turned out trophy, Novelty showing trophy and the under 12 Junior points champion trophy as well as 2nd in mini minor dressage and showjumping and 3rd in XC. Not bad for an 8yr old and her ponies first attemp at camp.We all had a brilliant week so thanks to all at Croome PC for doing a fab job, Tilly wants to book in again next year.

Sounds like you had a fun and successful week at camp. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

My daughter is off to camp on Monday for the week, and is really looking forward to it. I have to sleep in on Wednesday night and help with breakfasts and lunches on Thursday (oooh I can't wait!).

Then on saturday I have to go and get her and pony out of camp to go to the area PC SJ at Hargate, then take them back to camp for their last day on Sunday.

Busy week!

Sounds like your daughter had a great time.

My daughter is off to camp on the 11th August and not sure if she will enjoy it. We have new pony, we have never done XC on and my daughter hasn't done it and she also doesn't like SJ.
We mainly do dressage so i'm a bit worried for her as she's not the most confident when it comes to jumping.

Propbably won't bother with Pony club next year.

Both my daughters are going to camp on the 11th August. It will be my 7 year olds first camp. She is so excited but at the moment her pony is lame so fingers crossed! My other daughter will be on her new pony and is already worrying about doing the cross country! I think I will have a very hectic, stressful week so will need a holiday when we get back!!

I thought it would be stressful but our instructors were fab really making the kids feel confident, actually Tilly is not my daughter I just teach her to ride, her mother got coleard to do camp cooking this year and she says she had a great time. Hope you all have fun and the children love it as much as ours all did.
