can you compete at pony club events even if you are not a member?

I was just wondering as the local PC has an event that has a class at a future event that some of us at my yard feel is within our scope

Some PC's have open shows where anyone can compete so its worth checking with the entry sec or the rally sec

Most PC events are keen for extra entries and have open sections. You will be bound by PC rules, so you'll need medical card, tagged hat, etc if you don't already have it all.

The 'event' whatever it may be (show jumping or dressage or hunter trials) will be advertised as Open - ie open to non members of the Pony Club as well as members from other branches. It will also state this elsewhere in the schedule.

They are usually well run and well subscribed
