Pony Club Grassroots Dressage Test 2016 (20m x 40m)

Hello,

We've just come across this new test and would like clarification of one movement if anyone can help as I'm not sure I'm reading it correctly - probably being dim ! It's No.10 but shall include the previous and following movements (9 & 10)

9.
B Turn left
E Turn right in medium walk

10.
Between E & H Half circle right 20m diameter to between M & B in free walk on a long rein

11.
B Medium walk
Between B & F Transition to working trot


My Question is this :
Should the rider perform the free walk on a long rein from somewhere between E & H all the way round the half 20m circle to B ?

The half circle should be in free walk, so from E to the start of the half circle in med walk, then as you start the half circle allow the horse to stretch, as you finish the half circle start to pick up the reins so by B you are in med and preparing to trot, it is a bit messy to read, as are many of the PC tests, but should ride ok if you are able to be clear where you start and finish the half circle, a few strides straight will make it clear to the judge where you are starting and finishing.

I would ride the half circle so you almost touch C to ensure it is deep enough and clearly curving the whole way.
