Pony club instructors minimum qualifications

Hi guys

As per the title really. As some may know I had to sack my groom for fraud recently but before then her work helping me to bring on my horses wasn't up to scratch either. Anyway I was talking to a well known producer dealer (not about my mare) who said that she knew the story and my ex groom as she has had to fix a practically lame horse that she had messed up. This lady also said that the groom lies about her qualifications and said she was BHS AI when she is not. This rings a bell and was the claim in her adverts when I found her.

I'm aware that this ex groom teaches pony club and pony club camp. I assume they check credentials and the quals she does have must be ok but it's nagging at me?

Unqualified people can teach PC. They just have to go to a PC training course every 1/2 years. The DC has to have records of all the instructors teaching including first aid etc.

Well I am qualified, but I can see how there are plenty of people that are experienced professionals without BHS qualifications. They have to be CRB checked etc etc. not just anyone can teach.
