Hi

Has anyone been to the Northampton Pony Club jumping derby (or similar) before? It says it's 10 SJ fences and 10 rustic fences at 60cm but I'm just trying to work out whether it would be a good idea for me and my pony to attempt it! He loves jumping and is a dab hand at it so would be fine, but whilst I'm getting better, my confidence is still a tad fragile so I don't want to overstretch myself!

Yes we have been lots of times when my children were younger.! No pressure at all on you and you can go as fast or as slow as you want. I have seen lots of people just trot round. The results are based on clear rounds then on a short section which is timed. Its a beautiful setting as well and the people are really friendly and helpful. I would say probably one of the best places to go if you are starting out or a bit nervous as they are very supportive.

We'll be there as my daughter is a member of northampton PC... Everyone is very friendly and supportive and open to questions regardless of how trivial.
:)

Unfortunately I have been struck down by some hideous food poisoning so have been bedridden all day :-( some of my friends went and had a good time though so it's in the diary for next year!
