Pony Club Mounted Games

Does anyone know if lead reiners are allowed at the pony club mounted games junior area competitions?

Both myself and the DC at our local branch presumed not but there is nothing about it in the handbook.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Only replying as daughter did games many years ago, and I have never seen it at Area level, and would be pretty sure it's a no as it gives the child an advantage over another in that you can slow the pony for them to do the equipment/task.

The only time I have seen lead rein games is when some branches hold a friendly and have a novice section, where younger children and novices are allowed help.

It is probably not in the rules because no-one has asked yet!

Yeah! I've only ever seen them at friendlys which is why I'm not sure

No I don't think so, however if it is not actually in the rule book....

Perhaps give pc head office a ring to check?

Also never seen them & have been doing games for years, I'd bet it's a no...
