I am hoping on of you can tell me how to find the best of these. I am in eastern/south east rather than Yorkshire...and really wanting to get my boy going over these.

Know of a few - but not many! HELP?

NNPC one at Blackwater Farm, Gt. Witchingham (Norfolk) on 21st April- classes at 80cm, 90cm, 1m, 1.10m...

thank you - yes I know you can see SOME on the main PC site, but not all up yet

so I have no idea say if Ickworth (newmarket and thurlow) is on again...or when Soham is etc

just thought that someone on here would be a mine of information!

Can see some though thanks...or any other good Unaffil ODEs

I think LEC has a spreadsheet of unaffiliated events, which include PC ones too which is worth a look. We'll be on a similar hunt (in the same area- guessing you're area 8?) this year too!

Theres one at poplar park on 10th April and 4th July I think (or 2nd??!) at stratford Hills. Look on horsedates or Stratford Hills website.

Braintree Riding Club are also doing ODE on 8th May at Stratford hills, but biggest height is 2.6ft I think.

The Burghley have their senior ODE on the 17th July this year (know the date as have their calander :D ) at Burghley park. Heights are, 3ft, 3ft3 and 3ft6. XC coure fab, showjumping held on all weather surface.

Give the Burghley ODE a go. Going is always good whether wet or dry as it's on lovely old turf and you get to compete at the home of the Burghley 4*! (SJ is on a surface in the horse trials practice arena). The XC course is built by Guy Herbert (son of Burghley course builder Philip Herbert). Burghley PC also runs its Spring Hunter Trials at the same venue, both events have classes for non PC members.

Yes! our DC made sure that all area that where hard got airovated(sp). Also, XC is normally quite up to height ... any tricky combos are normally just below the height so make its fair if extremly tricky question ....
