Sorry, this post is a bit dull.
Went to Sands Farm today to do some PC showjumping
Annoyingly they were so behind that my class didn't start til 3! It took them 6 hours to do the first 2 classes
In the individual the course was so long and windy, I panicked about learning it. When it came to jumping, in the practise ring my horse was his typical lazy self. But suddenly when he got into the main ring, he lit up and went weeee!! We got a clear round, I was really happy with that.
But halfway through the course I lost the way, and the photograpaher kindly helped me- whoops! Because of this my time was too slow to be placed, but I was still pleased.
Unfortunately we got 8 faults in the team sj class, so didn't get into the jump-off. It was still fun though.
I have never been to Sands Farm, didn't really like it I have to say. The ground in the warm up ring was so deep, especially near the jumps. And the main ring was pretty small, they put a load of jumps in which was fine for the little ponies but not for my big horsey! Don't think I'll be going back any thime soon, there wasnt enough parking either grr.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their competitons this weekend!
