Yes or at least I would think so, at my yard we are not allowed to wear any jewlery and this does include tounge and belly bars.

you arent allowed to wear jewellry at your yard? is it a riding school or livery yard? I have a tongue piercing and would be very suprised if I was told by YO to remove it at my age especially!!

I can understand not wearing great long necklaces when riding - after all who wants smacking on the nose by a heavy chain whilst cantering or jumping. Or worse. Also understand the sense in not wearing big earrings too but these are just plain common sense.

How is a body piercing going to be a safety hazard

yep you are not allowed to wear tounge bars - at our pc comps the tack inspector makes you stick out you tounge to check

the only jewlery you are allowed to wear is a wedding ring, stock pin, watch and tie pin.

I'm just getting back into riding after a 5 year break, and along the way have aquired a lot of tattoos (another story haha). I assume as long as they're completely covered that they're ok during events?

Thanks guys! I just wasn't sure, I don't see how it could cause an injury seeing as it's kinda inside you lol. I have been to pony club rallies and camp and I don't think any instructors noticed, or if they did, they didn't say anything! Just I don't want to be told to take it out because it closes up really quickly (literally in like an hour!) hehe.
