Hi, wondering if anyone can help, my daughters 12.2 Sec B has recently decided he doesn't want to be in the trailer on his own at events, he is great to load and travel and will stand with another horse in the trailer, as soon as the other horse comes out he becomes unsettled, stressed and tries to rear, he has had his front leg over the breast bar twice now, which is worrying, there are times when he needs to be in there on his own, so we need to find a safe solution ASAP, any ideas gratefully received!
P.s before I got my horse he was happy staying in the trailer on his own as his didn't know anything else!

Should never be left in the trailer unattended, disaster wating to happen.
Can he not come out first and be tied to the side with a net?

Take them both out together , go for a walk then put him back on his own. I have seen an anti -weaving type grill thing somewhere which would stop him getting over the bar. I don't like leaving them tied up as I've caught so many loose horses at shows but I do agree that you can't really leave him unless you know he is going to stand.

Was watching something on H&C channel the other day with an Australian guy, think his name was Clinton Anderson, anyway he did this whole bit on how to get a horse to load then stay in the trailer, might be worth bit of investigating?
