Pony dumped and left to die :(

What a vile thing to do. This has made me cry - I feel so sorry for the poor little thing. The thought of it desperately trying to get up but being too weak to stand just churns my stomach. RIP little girl.

So sad, poor little thing. Shame there is another thread going at the moment about breeding a half decent stallion and taking it to a fair!! More poor unwanted ponies being brought into the world!

De ja vu - a gypsy cob was rescued locally (berkshire) in an awful state after being dumped in a car park a couple of weeks ago. A local riding school took it in, a very lucky little pony in that instance. It is so sad that people can be so cruel :( :(

What barstewerds. That poor animal must have suffered for months to get in that state. Why could they not have contacted a charity, or even have abandoned it where someone would find it, weeks ago, when the poor thing would have stood a chance. Heartless vermin!

So sad, poor little girl. I only posted yesterday about exactly the same thing in Cobham, Surrey - two little ponies dumped barely alive on Weds night, the RSPCA man put them both to sleep yesterday morning. I had to drive past their sad little bodies on the way home. What a terrible world we live in :)

RIP little ones xxx

Heartbreaking :( poor poor little pony :(

I wish people would stop breeding animals they aren't going to keep! Better to never have been born in the first place than suffer that way. :(

I agree CC, the sanctuaries are full, poor ponies like this are being starved and left to die and still people continue to breed inferior foals from poor quality mares knowing there's no market for them.

I just can't get my head around people that do this sort of thing. I am all for preventing indiscriminate breeding, but dumping young ponies/horses once they are here just makes me so sad.

Poor little Bambi - the foal picked up in the Berkshire car park - lost her fight for life yesterday. At least she went knowing that people cared.

Nikicob I am so sorry to just hear of Bambi's passing, I had been following her on Facebook as she is not far from me :( the team looking after her did all they could by the looks of it, very very sad. Such a cruel world :(

People like this make me sick. Those two poor horses.
We have just lost a much loved horse suddenly, and would have one anything to save him, these people just dont give a toss.

There was one found dead & dumped in the past couple of weeks near Scunthorpe, it made the local paper but it had been partially hidden by rubbish & fridges so someone made a real effort to hide the body!!!
People make me sick when they do this sort of thing ~ if you don't want or can't afford to keep the bloody things then give them to a rescue centre so someone honest & loving can have them!!!!
