My 3yo Shetland pony has never stayed a night inside before and tonight when I put her inside she was eating away at her hay, toys and licks. But… she also had a nibble of her natural flake bedding.
I know it’s just because it’s a new thing for her but can anyone recommend anything to stop her doing this?

Jeyes Fluid was always the one to go for! There are some nasty tasting liquids you can spray on, YUK BED was one, although you might have to hunt round for that.

My old haffie was on shavings for the first time last night as I was worried she would eat straw and colic as she’s lost too many teeth to eat hay/straw. She started nibbling at the shavings ??‍♀️ I think it was just because it was new and didn’t notice her doing it tonight so hoping it was a one off. ??

This is what I’m hoping my pony is doing as well, just a one off fingers crossed!
