Pony Europeans now on (all disciplines)

The pony Euros have started. Results, not hugely up to date, can be found here , click on Resultats, then whichever of the four you want.

After the preliminary dressage competition Sam Harrison is in 4th, with Germans in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th.....

And 4 of the 5 sjers jumped clear but not that fast in the opening round.

According to BE website Sienna Myson Davies was 1st to go for GB in the eventing and is on a respectable 50.00.

Looking good for Sam in the dressage and overall not bad for team.

Although the SJ warmup went well the actual first qualifying didn't go so well! Matt got elim, although Dan, Bec and Louise are all up there with 0, 4 and 4 respectively!

Eventing wise there are some great dressage scores in there and with 4 in the top 13 we can only hope the form continues! and yes springbok is just amazing!

Noble Springbok is a gorgeous pony, he was produced on a yard that I used to be on and he was just fab.

Its just a shame that Keri and Pepi are not there. Shes worked her ass off this season and really deserved their team place. Te whole family is gutted!

My god Alex Barr has had a gd ride in the Warm up test. Considering she was reserve. A great result!

Blimey, there were only 4 clears out of 50 sj rounds in the eventing, that's pretty awful.

Very confused.... what happened to Sam and Manitu? They were doing so well and seem not to have ridden on the final day. If you look at the final results it does say 17 entries, 16 starters, but she's not listed as withdrawn......
