As title, pony is going from out 24/7 in the summer and in every night in the winter, to 24/7/365 turnout. Plan is for him to be allowed to grow his coat and try and avoid rugging him this winter - he's a cob so should be ok. However for the last 7 years he's been clipped either during the winter or all year round, do you think he will be ok not being rugged this winter? He'll be in Cornwall where I'm told the winters are a bit milder than the South East where we currently are, but they are wetter? Or do you think that I should clip him and just rug up as normal? He will be in work over the winter but will depend on where/how many hours I end up working as there is no school. How do those of you with unclipped, hairy natives cope over winter when they're in work?
Thanks
