I have been on the sites recommended on another thread but all bar English bridles don’t appear to do pony size without it being a Mexican grackle ( with rings not leather loops) which is what I’m after. Any recommendations for a 14hh new forest or a saddler that would make me one? Budget up to £200 for something seriously nice.

I’d buy a nice bridle and then get the noseband you want. You’ll get a nicer bridle not limiting yourself to those that do English grackles off the peg. Or get something bespoke.

The grackle noseband I have is by Jeffries who sell bridle parts separately. It has loops rather than rings which makes it easier to adjust to fit ponies.

if you have a traditional saddler nearby I would ask about the possibility of getting a bridle/noseband made - pony heads can often need different proportions to the standard size bought 'off the peg'
