I think there are a few people locally who would be happy to oblige! Probably why they aren't naming the younger one "to protect him".

They aren't naming him because he is a youth. Papers can't name any defendant involved in a criminal offence until they're 18 (im a court reporter!)
Tho if it was up to me, they would all be named and shamed!!

4 years is rubbish IMO. If these kids can go out, steal the guns and then shoot 2 ponies then good god are they going to grow up being menaces to society!

I can tell you one thing, if someone killed one of mine, I would be the one doing time! Prob about 15 years!

Hopefully they can be watched now, as people who commit crimes on animals often go on to commit crimes against humans such as murder and sex crimes

i think its disgusting what they have done and they should be in prison for much longer as the horses cant protect themselves. its cowardly and the boys must need some physciatric help as no one in their right mind would do such a thing
