My impression is that pony club type ponies are selling (i.e. quiet, fun ponies) but prices are much less than what they were last year so you've got to be very realistic. Is this impression right? Has anyone experience of selling a 148cm pony club type recently? Did it take long? Did you have much interest? From what I can see from similar ads, something quiet that can jump a small track is in the £2,500-3,500 price bracket max. What's been your experience?

Im currently trying to sell my 148cm pony, to pony club or fun home, she is up for £2995 and tbh I've not had much interest, 3 or 4 calls and 1 viewing - a 10 year old girl who she was just too big for.

I'm not too disappointed if I dont sell so wont drop my price too much.
I'm in west sussex - but they appear to be selling better futher north.

Good luck

My daughter and a lot of her friends have just moved up to that height bracket. What I have noticed amongst them is that they would need a pony that does a bit more than you have just described. They are all moving onto first competition types. So maybe your market is a bit more limited at that size. Then again the market might just be quiet

I have just advertised our fab 148cms top class PC/jumping pony and have had about half a dozen calls which si fewer than I expected. She has only been advertised for a few days though so it is literally early days.

So, just need to find a home for schoolmistress who jumps 1.20's and wins national titles...

So unfair , a year ago when we were looking it was impossible and things certainly were not lower priced! And as for finding a loan near impossible.
