So, i rode lil ponio y*day and she didnt even want to trot, even when i tapped her up and she isn't usually like that at all. She had saddle checked recently, teeth are ok, she's eating fine(nothing would put her off of food lol) and she isn't lame,

i changed her from the sweet iron gag to a rubber hanging cheek snaffle, which is what she had before the gag, as she really doesn't need a gag atm. She was exactly the same today aswell so i walked and trotted her round for 15 mins and got back off. Its very strange i don't think it is the bit but haven't changed anything else.

Am totally confused.com
Oh yeah will be trying her back in the gag 2moro, just incase soo.. any thoughts?

Maybe she's feeling unwell I'd get her white cells levels checked could be a virus lots of rest and an iron supplement! Check her gums for pinkness that will tell usually

Sometimes when their coats change they can get a bit sluggish and lethargic. Just keep an eye on her, maybe give her a couple of days off and some TLC

I'm sure she'll be fine

She seems ok in the stable... no objections to being fussed or treated, she is completely spoilt already.

MM- her coat hasn't changed, she is still losing last years winter coat (i dont think)

i forgot to say she is of course wormed up to date, in regular work, being fed and all things like that. She isn't old, she is only 12 and i have had her for 5 yrs but she hasn't ever been like this before. I will see how she is tomorrow and if she is still the same then will have vet look at her.
