Anyone know anyone in Newcastle area who could help a pony tied up - no food or water or shelter. Have asked WHW for help, but prob won't get reply till tomorrow or day after. It is field behind Ellington close, Newcastle, NE15 8QN proper food vital and a bucket of water. Please spread the word

Apparently the pony was fed and watered they have gone back up to check on him and he has now gone, they will keep an eye out for him and let us know if they see or hear anything..

final post

This is an update from Mane Chance page. Doesn't sound promising at all Of course it has had water and some food also.!! It was left for three days (that my friend noticed) and no one had been to it. He went back up this evening to check how it was as it is freezing again here in newcastle, but it has gone..My friend had given it food and water when he had seen it, had previously contacted RSPCA who were an utter joke and said to keep an eye on it, at the point where my friend said, what until it is dead... the chain it was attached to was only 6 foot and kept getting caught into it, so he untangled it as and when this happened. I have no idea about horses or pony, it was my mum who helped me search on facebook to see if we could find someone to help us or point us in the right direction... My original post is on the wall of this group... I appreciate all the help to those who messaged me and also commented, as i state neither me or my friend have a clue about horses, but it's gone now, just have to keep watch in case it turns up somewhere else

Just a quick update for those that are interested...

The pony is in very safe hands and he is fine now ;-) x
