pony had flu and tetnus jab on monday and since then has barely touched her hay when in at nite. she eats her brekkie and dinner no probs and also grazes when turned out.

winter routine of pony being in at nite started on sunday and she ate her hay sunday nite in the stable.

do you think that the stress of being in at nite and the flu jab has caused her to not want hay when stabled?

im hoping that come the weekend she'll be back to normal.

p.s. the only other thing i can think of is that shes sleeping all nite as last year she was on rubber mats and a dusting of shavings and this year she has a deep litter shavings bed! lol!

My horse had his flu jab last week and he was off his hay for about 3 days. He's eating it again now though. I hope your pony stats eating his hay again soon!

Shes probably feeling under the weather after the jab. If she doesnt eat tonight i would phone your vet tomorrow to discuss it
