How big is a pony Puissance class likely to get?

last one i went to watch went up to 1.35m, but it depends how big the show is- if its a small local show it wont go up that big i shouldn't expect.

How big is the show? Have seen a local event go up to 1m25.

I have had to jump 4'11" in a local show Piussance before (alhtough that was both horse and pony)

i have jumped 1m50 in a bsja pony puissance which is the max height 14h2s are meant to jump! unafil will prob go 1m30ish max

Cavan went up to 1.60m. Last unaffiliated one I did went up to 1.30

Last one I did went to 5ft6ins (was a very long time ago) but obviously it depends on the ability of the entrants!
Fook me have just done it on the tape measure its 1.68m

ETS by the way we won, it was on my 13.2 JA pony who was very on form that day

the Irish showjumping association may well have different rules though! I know at least when I was on ponies the max a 14h2 could jump in competition was 1m50.

infact just checked it rules 135(4) states the maximum height of any one fence in a competition for ponies is 1m50

can you tell i'm bored

Does that count for a puissance too?
Btw the one I did was at unaff, but a very high standard turnout ( they had really good prizes on offer, like portable tvs etc aswell as prize money, later turned out all the stuff was nicked!!!!!!!!!)

Not really sure I should do the class... She's 14 hands, and although we're clearing 4ft at home easily, not really sure...

according to rule it is for all classes so including Puissance! Either way 1m50 is more than big enough to be jumping on a 14h2

never mind 5ft8 or whatever it was on a 13h2
