Pony Pushed Into Lake

Thing is, the police will know who it is, but will they do anything - my guess is no.

Poor pony, at least no longer to suffer at their hands though :( They should put them in a sack with a block of concrete and drop them in the ocean

I've already said my piece, but I'm bumping this back up as everyone needs to be aware of how evil these ****** are. Oh, I said the "P" word. What's the betting someone presses the button - and I bet I know who....

how horrific! one can only imagine how scared the poor pony was. :( what utter b******s! what on earth is wrong with people in this world? agree with everyone who has said they should be drowned too.

Bumping this ..

I found out the other day that a shetland on a road very close to my home and near my yard was stabbed and had its ear cut off the other day. The poor pony had to be put down :( What is the world coming to??!!

Hate to think of this happening in my neighbourhood . . . sad, but true . . . hope the most prominent gypsy family in this area didn't have anything to do with this . . .

Really, really sad . . . and beyong disgusting. Hate that this happened so close to home . . . but hate more that this happened at all . . .

Pathetic excuse for humans. and yes i bet they will get away with it because of who they are ( they probably refer to themselves as gypsies and live in council houses that seems to be the fashion)
if we can arrange for a TV camera im sure the rspca will be there in a nice shiny uniform.

as to why,
maybe a revenge act ? maybe stolen ponies ? maybe even trying the ponies in the lake to practise for appleby but either way what a fooking disgrace. praise to the man that tried to help. and condemnation the the spineless bar-stewards that watched a terrified pony drown.
but still I cant imagine they would have wanted to loose carts and harness unless they weren't theirs in the first place.

The man that was hurt is still quite poorly. Lucky for him someone thought to pull him out.

I hope that the gentleman than tried to rescue the horse makes a full and speedy recovery and gets an award for his brave actions.

With the number of people who saw this incident it should be easy for the police and RSPCA to prosecute all the people concerned and ensure that they are found guilty of animal cruelty. They can then be publicly named and shamed and banned from keeping any animals in the future..
