Hi, I'm really want to event my 15.1hh at BE90 this year - problem is I'm rather tall but she is just such a fantastic little horse! I've produced her since a 4 year old, she was meant to be a project to be sold but I did 4 BE80s with her last season and she never had any problems - was surprisingly successful actually. So what do you think, keep and have some fun or sell and search for the proverbial needle in the haystack of the same horse in a larger size?!

KEEP and have fun!! I love the 'ickle ones, have one of my own and they are such fun. Sometimes life can get too serious for its own good, and it is about time more people 'just' had fun! She looks lovely Rosey, just my sort ;)

You don't look that big on her at all- she's not tremendously fine, and whilst I can imagine that at dressage length your legs might dangle, you don't look big on her so that it'll be a struggle.

She's lovely, I don't think you look to big on her, and you certainly aren't too heavy for her.

If you enjoy riding her, keep her, what are your plans for the year?

You don't look too big on her at all. Think of Little Tiger making light of Badminton! OK PB isn't that tall but she was still on what was basically a pony, going round a 4* track.

A friend is 5'11" with a 15'3" and they don't seem to have any issues - moving up to BE100 this year.

Thank you so much everyone, I don't want to sell her...far too attached as she's an absolute poppet albeit a very buzzy cob type! If all goes well and Uni allowing, the plan is to do some BE90s she's definitely got the jump and is pretty smart on the flat so aim for the regional finals eventually. The beginning of this video really shows what a long way she's come, this was 2 weeks after she arrived from Ireland, we did wonder if she'd survive the journey over she was so thin!

def keep her :)

My mate had gone from her nutty 16.1 SJ bred mare to riding a 14hh irish cobby pony for someone- not unlike yours (too much for their daughter as has a buck) and is having a whale of a time, DC every BE90 they did and off BE100 this year :).

Oh and she's taller with me (must be 5'6/5'7) with annoyingly long legs but actually he takes up her leg quite well.

My daughter's 5'10" with a 36" inside leg and her TB makes 15.1 on his tiptoes. She took him Pre-novice so don't see why you would have any problems!
