Pony tails and hats

Just thinking that winter's just around the corner

and the age old problem I always seem to have will be here again.
I want a warm snuggly hat but I wear my hair in a pony tail and any nice hat always looks like I’ve got a growth on the back of my head when it’s on.

Baseball caps are ok cos pony can stick out the back but it’s not warm.
Any ideas?

Don't know if yours in long enough but I plait mine down so do not get the lumpy head look!

i do my pony tail very low and i think it looks alright?!

Mmmmmmm both good ideas but my hair's not that long that's why i have to wear it higher, i just pull it down to ride

can you not just leave it down under a hat? maybe get some grips/clips to keep it pinned back behind your ears...

Wear a hair net, not that attractive I grant you, but keeps your hair in place!!!

how about one of those bands which you put around your neck then push up to your head so that it holds your hair back then put a hat over the top. cant remember what they're called but hopefully you get what i mean...
