I know of a lovely pony to loan - not advertised as yet.

My friend is wondering if she should advertise him or just go through word of mouth?

He is 14.1hh 14yo chestnut gelding, lovely nature, safe, no vices - going with full clothing! and pref long term loan.

In short - he is desirable, but you hear so many loan horror stories that she is unsure what is best?

I think she should try advertising as it will gove her many more homes to vet etc

Thoughts?

I have loaned in the past by word of mouth. You can be more sure of the home then.
Advertiseing brings in alsorts.

My boy has been loaned by 3 people since September 2008, all by word of mouth, all have not been so good. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all bad! But I'm hoping to put him on full loan in September for my final year of university and I'm going to be doing it properly this time :)
