Thinking about going away with a friend next year and fancy a riding holiday.

Where do you recommend for a pair of novice riders? We can both walk and trot, I can canter.

Also, friend is quite heavy- about 16stone. Do places cater for those kinds of weights?

This place http://www.caeiago.co.uk/ are really good for novices, i used to live just down the road from them and inbetween horses used to go on their hacks. They have some good sturdy horses so would be suitable for your friend. They are really friendly and the welsh countryside in that area is stunning.
