Pony, where to look

Try looking on the individual branch websites of some of your local Pony Clubs. Quite a few of them have their own 'classified ads' page which is separate from the 'proper' Pony Club classifieds section.

That's the problem most I like the sound of are very far away. Went 100 miles today and pony was nice but not much bigger than the one we have and was a bit more than we can afford and they wouldn't think about reducing the price as only just gone up for sale. Tried on yesterday and it was a bit too big and wide. Its hard to tell from adverts just exactly what height and build they are.

I know the feeling! I was looking for a 11.2hh first ridden pony. Been all over Scotland looking! Ended up with a 12.2 and i'm not sure the seller was completely honest but time will tell :(

Good luck on finding what you need, it's like finding a needle in a hay stack!

Ah, just saw where you are. Good luck

There is still a chance that the pony we saw today won't sell [being seen by someone tomorrow] Problem is we don't want to sell our 11.2 as would like to keep him for our next little one [only 9 weeks at the moment ,I know mad but pony is only 5 and been a nice little lead rein pony just can be a bit sharp in open field off lead rein ] which means we have to find the full amount for the new pony

Ask everyone horsey you know! If you're on Facebook try some of the horsey pages and place a wanted ad. Our daughters first 11.2hh pony came via word of mouth after searching high and low for months, he was fantastic. When we lost him due to an accident in June we managed to find her next pony again by word of mouth and he is also a little star. I always prefer to do it that way if I can....good luck they aren't easy to find!
