Pony with the dreaded colic..

Did last checks tonight and 3 year old fell pony exhibiting colic symptoms and in obvious distress and discomfort. Vet on way?

Thanks both, I just have a horrible bad feeling about this tonight. Vet has been and said that temperature is OK, membranes colour OK but he is in obvious pain so has administered Buscopan and a potent painkiller/pain relief.

Vet says spasmodic colic. He also had a bit of diarrhoea when he got up a bit ago.

Morning all, after vet administered Buscopan and pain relief he improved. Checked through night and this morning and seems to be comfortable this morning. Vet said pain relief would wear off after 12 hours so I'm just hoping he is truly comfortable and not just masked by pain relief.
