Ever since its been getting colder in the last couple of weeks, my little pony has turned into a little old man despite being 2! He just seems down in the dumps! Hes eating okay, drinking fine everything fine, just seems to be when hes in his stable and leading up to the feild hes really down but once in the feild hes back to his old self! I wonder if they really can get winter blues lol!

If he's in overnight he could just be bored and a bit stressed, especially if this is the first winter in for him.
He's only a baby, is there a chance he could winter out until he comes into work? Its often better not to confine young horse too much.

No theres no chance at all of wintering him out, round here theres no where, and beleive me Ive searched high and low to find somewhere that will do more turnout than us. Hes currently out at night and stabled during the day (dont ask me why its YO preference) and he spent all last winter inside with his previous owners so can't see why its bothering him? Hes on a handful of basic mix and a scoop of chop every morning? Someone on here suggested a good balancer, so currently looking into it.
