Poo Briquettes

Any open fire without an adequate chimney will cause the same problems.Lets not have unfounded criticism damage the British Poo briquette industry:D

I would not use them on an open fire but they are used in pellet form on the continent and are fine if you have a multifuel burning stove. seems a good way to save on wood and recycle the manure at the same time

Smell!!! What smell. We leave them for about 3 weeks then bring them in to finish drying beside the Multi-Fuel Burner. After another couple of days they are ready for use.
They are very similar to peat to burn so put them on when we are burning wood and one briquette will last for about an hour and gives off a fair amount of heat. We even supply our next door neighbour now as well.
