How do I stop it!?

Jack went through a phase of it but it only last a few weeks then he stopped. Quila is a git!! We try and pick everything up as it's happens but don't always get there in time and I've spotted her as he's in the process before now!

How can I stop the dirty madam?

there are lots of different tricks... feeding pineapple is one.

i have given up trying to stop my dog eating poo... the minute she has any freedom she will eat crap!

some dogs like to eat ****... i know someone who had a few dogs... one of which does the same as yours... eats it on its way out of another...

(its a bulldog thing!!! :D )

nice eh??!! as long as she's on the lead (which is always unless in certain private and secure areas) she doesnt eat poo... but she will still try if im not paying full attention!!

Look the other way and don't let the dog lick your face! It is Nature's way of letting an animal top up on the bacteria that it needs for efficient digestion. Lots of animals do it, even horses occasionally.

Sorry, I am sure that piece of information won't reassure you, but it is a fact!:D

Keep her on a line, spot the poo before she does and depending on the type of dog, either offer a distraction before she gets to it, or a correction with verbal back-up, then a reward for leaving it.

Before you let her out in the garden have a hasty check that everything is picked up and keep her on the lead until the other dog has done what it has to do. I know its a bit of a faff but at least that way you will get her out of the habit.

Our Older Spinone used to eat the other dogs poo, never her own, it stopped when we changed her onto raw food, so I guess she was lacking something. She still eats all sorts of other animals poo given half the chance!!
