POO PICKING!!! IN THIS WEATHER??

Ive basically given up :-/ Bought horse magazines and read them instead, Thats two weeks i havent got out to do poo picking ( i know BAD Mum!!)

Anyone else given up on the not so good chores through all this rain!! ??

Damn it! I shoulda followed you lead! But I did mine in the pissing rain this morning - it was a weeks' worth, I didn't feel I could leave it any longer!

Yup! Twice today - once this morning b/c I forgot last night in all the drama with GreyDonk and the barbed wire, and then again this afternoon (we do our field daily).

Actually the only thing I haven't done in this horrific weather is ride . . . Kali HATES the rain and we end up having such a battle . . . I have, however, lunged and longreined him.

OH my, now i do feel pretty bad.

Still not going out there though. although i managed to move them into another poo free paddock instead!! lol Think i may pay someone else to do it. hate this weather!! Maybe i shouldnt have horses :-/

Oh and they weigh a ton dont they! No I have been really good dressing up like I am about to be launched with the lifeboat! Waterproofs all over! I make so much noise walking along crunch crunch. The only thing is my gloves get soaked and hands cold so I have two pairs gloves on the go at the moment I have kept it up as he is in a small area, If the field had been well grazed I would chain harrow it in and would have given up!

I did! put on my waterproof trousers, hood up and off I went! got 2 barrows, and it wasn't as bad as I thought... had been putting it off!

I poo pick daily.. I even tried in the snow until I realised the poo froze to the ground

Also ridden the last two days, including xc schooling yesterday.

Also ridden twice a day for over the last week since big fuzzy got a handful in hand - only once have I got sodden (this evening!) but think dry-luck will have run out tomorrow
