£5 per hour per person, don't think anyone would really want to work for less than that unless you finde some tractor mad 12 year olds who'd probably do it for free! plus you've got the added cost of petrol.
My GOD ben and jerrys that's an horrific sig pic??? aaargh

Poo picking, I would not be sure what they're charging since it is a livery yard and the price would not necessarily be broken down.
For two horses, it takes me about half an hour every day for a field used for half of 24 hrs. (make sense??) That's with a poo hod, and barrow, chucking it into the nearest hedge.
Hmm, this interesting! I was quoted £10, then was charge £20 and was told the farmer wanted to charge me £40 as there were two people doing it at £10 an hour!!!
Takes me 20 - 30 mins once a day to pick poo in my field. 2 horse, not putting poo in hedge but on heap. I'd save the cash and do it myself - burn calories - eat chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's supposedly included in the cost but it actually just gets harrowed which can't be as beneficial as far as getting rid of worms is concerned surely?
I was quoted £60 to do a 1 and a bit acre field - apparently two people 2 hours - it hadn't been done for ages when we first bought the place. They took over 4 hours to do it as some of the machines dont have that much 'suck' and have to be guided like cleaning a pool........hence the need for 2 people. They tried to charge me £90 in the end but I paid them only what they quoted telling them they needed to get thier quoting down pat!!!
Wouldn't spend the money again though, it wasn't that thorough - I could have done a much better job with a rake and barrow but simply couldn't face it all........now all the fields are done twice a day and it is easy. Pay a kid a £5 to do it for you and let them 'groom' your horse too!!!
