if doing poo samples and one has came back clear and your horse is own its own paddocks get picked every day and been on a strict worming programme ria starting these poo test if the second one does not come back clear where can the horse be picking them up from?
 
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Just because there were no eggs in sample 1, it doesn't mean that your horse doesn't have worms, just that the eggs weren't being shed at that moment.

There are probably still some worm larvae on the pasture. You will gradually reduce the numbers by poo picking and your worming regime.
