Is this a good thing or bad thing?
Puppy seems to be pooing less the past few days. We changed his food from Beta to James Wellbeloved (he has a tiny forkful of Butchers (were using Lidl tripe before whichI wasn't too sure on the quality of) in with this beause he's a bit fussy, this helps him a lot!)
Would this better quality food change anything, he doesn't seem constipated or anything (though I don't know how obvious this woul be to spot)

Oh and he's lost his first tooth!!!

As long as he's not constipated,I think that pooing less means they are absorbing all the goodness from the food, and excreting the rest. As long as he(she) is not loosing weight or gaining weight and has enough energy...you are doing fine. The better the ingredients of the food, the better they are utilised in the body..therefore less waste..lol

Certain manufacturers, and I think James Wellbeloved is one of them, advertise fewer stools as a selling point for their product. Like moscow says it's to due with more efficient food absorption. So I would take it as a good sign
