Does anyone have ideas how 2 pool noodles I have been given, can be used in lessons for disabled children? I was originally going to make batons out of them, but they are too wide for the children to hold easily. I know you can use them for de-sensitising, and for noodle ponies, but was hoping to use them in the actual lesson?
Thanks

Can a hand hold be ‘shaved’ out of them? So make a narrower section to grip.
Or used as a soft ‘limbo’ pole or arch as a target to ride under.
You could also play a game of knights and swordsmen if you can find a light bin lid or fashion a shield from cardboard - your ‘knight’ holds the shield and has to defend themselves from you as the foot soldier with a noodle sword…. Stationary or at a sedate walking charge…

More desensitisation/Trec stuff but I’ve seen them used as part of an obstacle course, either a ‘bramble tangle’ attached to jump wings or fastened to the top of (vertically halved) barrels.
