Had a lovely full days hunting with daughter yesterday. But......today she is sore in her back and girth area. Daughter said she had a moment going over a ditch where she got it a wee bit wrong and sort of chucked herself at it. Noboby hurt or parted company but I think she has done herself a mischief and twisted herself. She hasn't lied down yet but is sound. I have given her some bute and a maasage but want to know if there is an affective alternative to bute I can get for her. She is feeling a little sorry for herself and doesn't think she should eat her tea either. Help!??

Boswellia is herbal anti inflammatory and kinder on the gut than devils claw.Have a look on ebay under horse supplements for more info.

Poor beanie :-( she was very excited yesterday and, erm, active lol. I know my legs are aching today and Bex was pretty stiff too so hope Beans just over exerted herself and perhaps has lactic acid buildup in her muscles. Try giving her some sugar/molasses and see if that helps.
