iv had horses in 5/6 rugs at a time and trust me they can still roll, leap,gallop, graze, sleep, eat and ***** like any other horse 
"Yeah sometimes people see it as some sort of Triumph that their horse isnt rugged and show off about it!!! and you see their horse in the field looking thoroughly Pi**ed off, cold,wet and miserable its not a sign of weakness to put a rug on!!!!!! "
the above also drives me mad, he's fine in his LW says the person whose horse looks ribby and tucked up with a dry dull coat!aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... mine come in from the field and even on a horrid wet cold day they are round and cheerfull, coats gleaming,prancing along with their ears up-makes me so sad to see poor little sods in fields, looking damp and tired and fed up with life, for the sake of a neck cover or under rug.
