Poor Boy, Face Rub - Picture

My lad had a rash on his face last summer although not as angry looking as this one. I ended up using a cream called Flamizine which is for burns, but it really calmed it down, the hair regrew ok and he's not had a recurrence so I think it was a sensitivity reaction of some sort. I'm another who would caution the hibiscrub approach. I'm allergic to it myself, brings me out in awful dermatitis type rashes so am always very careful about using it on my horse.

I'm all scared to use any lotions on him now - he's a hardy little mountian pony with the skin of a baby!! He's allergic to loads, however Hibiscrub seems to be in the small list of things that he's not bothered by, thankfully:)
