Complete mystery. after playing with squeaky dog toys in the garden this afternoon all well and fit, had a 30 min rest. 'Ebby' has a lie down in the back of the car, while us humans go for a sit down with a cuppa. About 30 mins later it was time to say bye to relatives and Ebby is limping towards us on 3 legs. Quickly can see that her NH has a bald patch about the size of a 50p just above her fetlock on the back of the leg. Its sore and swollen but no blood. No hair.
Sprayed some 'human' savalon iodine stuff to it, but now what do I do? made her rest at home while I went to do the GG's, and she seems more comfy now. What the hell could have caused it? And if someone could kindly tell me how to put piccies on here I will gladly show you her leg. She is a whippet cross so can be very wimpish yet I never saw anything or heard her yelp... Puzzled owner!!
