My poor lab started looking in distress this lunchtime running around the house and being generally upset, running in circles, thinking she might have an ear infection I checked and its that blooming skin infection, like wet exczema, all down the base of her neck under her collar.
Took her to the vet although we have all the stuff at home, as thought she might need sedated to have the hair clipped but luckily we managed to get it done without it, although the poor thing hated it.
So having started her on antibiotics and cream came home this evening and bless her she is still really upset

It's so horrible to see them like this, nothing else we can do to make her more comfy but

Hugs and sympathies, it really is difficult when you know you've done what you can and you know it will help, but maybe just not like with a snap of the fingers-speed. And all I wish is to be able to tell them that "Soon, soon it will feel better..."

from Sweden.

My rotti had a bad case once, clip, clean and cream....lol, as u have done, it clears up pretty quickly with fuciderm......and a good old hood to stop the scratching....it must be bloody irritating though
