Poor Donkey :(

Bl**dy Hell the poor thing. Just how do people come up with this and think it's a good idea?!?!?! Do they sit in a meeting and somewone says "I know, we'll tie a donkey to a parachute, people will love to come here for their holidays then" and everyone else go's "yea, what a great idea". Absoulutly barmy.
 
Oh my god. Why the heck would someone want to do that to a LIVE ANIMAL. Fair enough if it was a stuffed toy or something, but a live donkey?! Some people in this world are complete idiots :mad: :( Poor thing :(
 
In the article it says the name of the village where it happened. Ant technowhizzes on here able to find an e mail for their tourist board, so we could bombard them with e mails saying how asful we think they are and how we will never visit a region that does such cruel stunts... It may make them think...
 
It makes me ashamed to be a human being right now. What sick and twisted people would do this to a live animal....and to think that it would attract people to their beach!!!!!! I hope they get sent to prison for animal cruelty and not just some small fine!

they should be tied to the parachute, let go and then the ropes cut - that would attract tourism - id pay thousands to see that
 
I wonder how the poor donkey is doing, can't they develop hyperlipaemia from loosing their mate...let alone this!! And with such a high mortality rate!!!

I'm appalled at this! The poor, poor donkey. I note the report states that the perpetrators MAY face prosecution. IMO they should be locked up for the foreseeable future. The capacity of some people for sheer callousness and cruelty never ceases to amaze me. I feel quite sick.

agreed - who the hell could be sat on a beach and just "watch" this happen - disgusting inhumane abbhorent behaviour - we really should all email this beach owners
