Poor grazing

Hi all, my horse is at a wonderful yard and is very happy there, as am I, but I am a bit concerned about the grazing. The fields aren’t really maintained apart from spot spraying weeds in the spring which is ok as my horse is a good doer. However, the field is really rutted in places but I don’t think the yard manager has the means (roller) to roll the fields. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

I used to tie a pallet, with old tyres on for weight, on the back of my car. It makes excellent harrows.
